The Charities Regulator are delighted to announce that they are hosting a joint event with the Voluntary Assistance Scheme of The Bar of Ireland on the recently launched Charities Governance Code, which is intended to support charities and guide them towards complying with their legal duties.
They would greatly welcome your involvement and the workshop will be provided free of charge to 80 participants.
Speakers will be present from the Charities Regulator and the Law Library. They will focus on giving attendees an introduction to the Charities Governance Code and explain the legal duties of charity trustees. They will also provide steps in how to comply with the Charities Governance Code and give attendees a practical perspective on the role of the charity trustee.
Registration begins at 3.00pm with tea/coffee on arrival. Event commences at 3.30pm sharp and concludes at 5.30pm. The venue is the Gaffney Room, Distillery Building, 145-151 Church Street, Dublin 7.
Please note that places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis by registering via the link below. Given the limited number of seats at the event, one trustee where possible should register to attend with other board members availing of the webinar facilities.
