Who should join

Membership is open to any Board of Management in a recognised school in the Republic of Ireland providing education for children with Special Education Needs. These can be Special Schools and Primary and Post Primary Mainstream schools.

How to join

Membership of NABMSE follows the academic year and is usually due in mid October. If a Board of Management are interested in renewing their membership for the coming academic year or wishes to join for the first time, there are two alternatives available for renewal of membership and payment:

  • Standing order –Membership Fee of €76 would come out of your nominated bank account on 11th October each year. This allows for the automatic renewal of membership and the benefits that membership brings. It would require the completed standing order form and the membership form to be returned to the NABMSE Office. Please contact the NABMSE office for a standing order form.
  • Payment of membership by cheque. This would require the return of the membership form and cheque for €76 to be returned the NABMSE office.
