Redeployment panel update 13th September 2011

The DES have published the most recent redeployement panel update on their website this morning.

The situation is similar to the last update subject to exceptions:

  1. Individual schools that have been separately notified in relation to the filling of a vacancy through the redeployment of a surplus permanent teacher
  2. Schools of all patronages (across all panels) within a 45km radius of Ventry, Co. Kerry and Ballygar, Co. Galway

Schools within 45km radius of Ventry and Ballygar can contact the Department at primaryallocations@education.gov.ie and it will determine whether individual vacancies are required, or not, to facilitate the redeployment of the remaining surplus permanent teachers within this location.

Schools are also reminded as per Circular 09/2011 that the latest date for filling a permanent vacancy on a permanent basis is Monday 7th November 2011.
