Conference 2011 – Self Defence for Boards of Management

NABMSE are holding their annual conference on 14th October 2011 in the Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise. The theme of the conference this year is ‘ Self Defence for Boards of Management’.

 It is an important training event for Board members and an opportunity for networking with other schools .

There is an interesting line up this year with a mix of legal issues and a session on how to get your school message across.  NABMSE’s latest research on ‘Why are post 12 year old students with SEN who have attended mainstream  seeking admission to special schools?’ will also be launched on the day.

The conference is open to all members of Boards of Management from special schools and mainstream schools and there is NO FEE FOR THIS CONFERENCE.

All schools and Chairpersons of NABMSE member school will receive the brochure in the post early next week.  To download the brochure, please click on Brochure.
