SNA posts 2011/2012-implications for payments

The DES published an  ‘Advisory Note on the Implications for the Payment of Special Needs Assistants’ on 28th July. 

They have issued an amended version. Example 4 has been deleted from the original document. Schools should allocate additional hours either to existing SNAs’ or by open recruitment, if necessary, to meet the care needs of the special needs pupils in their care.
