Redeployment Panel update 5th August 2011

The DES have just published the most recent update on the redeployment panels on their website. There is now 15 teachers remaining on the main redeployment panels. Since 5th August, there are a number of other dioceses that have been permitted to proceed to the filling of their permanent and fixed term vacanices in the normal manner. These are:

Armagh, Cashel & Emily, Cloyne, Derry, Limerick, Ossory and Waterford & Lismore.

These are in addition to the dioceses released on 22nd July.

The filling of vacancies in this manner is dependent on the following:

Permanent:

  •  The vacancy has been notified to the relevant panel operator
  • The main panel remains clear including, where appropriate the special national panel
  • The supplementary redeployment panel is clear or all teachers remaining on panels have refused offers from Boards of Management on grounds of distance.

Fixed Term:

  •  All their fixed term vacancies have been notified to the relevant panel operator
  • The main redeployment panels remain clear.
