Redeployment Panel Update 12th August

The DES have published the most recent update on the redeployment panels in the Primary sector today 12th August.

Permanent Vacancies

With the exception areas within 45 km of 7 named locations,  schools of all patronage can proceed to fill their permanent vacancies through open recruitment provided

  • the vacancy has been notified to the relevant panel operator
  • the main panel remains clear including, where appropriate the special national panel
  • the supplementary redeployment panel is clear or all teachers remaining on panels have refused offers from Boards of Management on grounds of distance.

It should be noted that there are still names on the 5 year + section of the main special panel.

Fixed term vacancies

With the exception areas within 45 km of 7 named locations, schools of all patronage can also proceed to fill all their fixed term vacancies in the normal way provided all their fixed term vacancies have been notified to the relevant panel operator and the main redeployment panels remain clear.
